Fused glass Highland Cow picture workshop - 21st September - 1.00 - 3.00pm

Ever wanted to make something from fused glass?  Well here is a lovely autumnal opportunity from Claire Myers at Cherry Tree Glass Studio, an experienced glass maker. In this workshop you will make a fused glass picture of a Highland Cow.  Claire, an experienced glass fuser, will guide you through the process of painting sections of the cow, selecting colourful glass pieces including frit (crushed glass) and stringers (glass rods) and arranging them in a creative way. You will create one piece measuring 10x10cm. A wooden stand to display your beautiful fused glass piece is also included.

You will apply frit (crushed glass) stringers (glass rods) and shaped glass pieces to complete the wreath.  The glass pieces come in a wide variety of shapes including, pumpkins, leaves, toadstools and flowers.

On completion your item will be taken away, a ribbon added, and fired and returned to Little Leaf for collection approximately a week later.

No experience is required and all equipment is provided.

Complimentary drink and cake available from 1.00pm and the workshop starts promptly at 1.30pm.

Over 18's only please.
