Wisteria Sinensis Prolific is a deciduous woody climber that has anticlockwise twining stems, with ovate leaf's that are a bright green colour in Summer and Spring.

The climber is known for its long racemes that are produced in early Spring and Summer, they reach up to 25 - 30 cm long and are a violet-blue colour and are extremely fragrant in the flowering months. That is then followed by bean like seed pods in the Summer and Autumn months.
